    Hi,
I am and Indian passport holder and I am currently in UK on a student visa. My fiance is Polish and we met in the UK. My visa expires in Jan 2013 and we are planning to get a registered marriage done at the local council. He has been in the UK for 7 years but has not yet applied for British Passport.

With the new changes in the visa rules I am confused. When we get married will I be able to stay with him even if he does not earn £18000 pa?

What are the other things we need before we apply?

    I would appreciate any advise.
