Hello all.

I'm moving from Australia to London within the next couple of years and was wondering if someone here could spare a few moments of their valuable time, and tell me just how difficult it is to rent a flat (or apartment) or house in or around the London area?

How would I go about doing it? Is renting a common thing to do in London? I've had a look at various web sites but I'd like to hear from a real person and their (possibly your) experiences or advice. Well, I say *real* I suppose I mean *real* as in as *real* as I can get in cyber space. I suppose you are real though aren’t you? Anyway, enough of that *real* nonsense...
