✎ EN Certified Copy of UK passport needed in USA

    Please could someone help me. I am a UK citizen living in the USA and I need a certified copy of my UK passport.

    In the UK I would go to a solicitor, pay a fee and get the certified copy. But in the USA you need to go to the document place of issue to get the certified copy.

    Do I go the UK Embassy? If so does anyone know a timescale and fee?
    Can I go to a solicitor as before? Is there another way?

    Any guidance will be very much appreciated!
