    Hi,

Like I mentioned before about recognizing me will not be very difficult since I doubt if there will be many Asian looking woman in the bar. I will be wearing a white/off while jacket. I have black lengthy wavy hair and I will carry a pair of yellow sunglasses on my head . My mobile number is 06 65 11 85 64. Tien is my first name, and Iza is my nickname, so I will respond to both.

    See you all at O'Sullivan.

In my opinion, the group will work if we creat a homogen group ?

I agree with you Nab !
it won't be interesting for all if there are only two english speakers !
Iza and Rahul: maybe you know another person who would be interested to join us?

    Nab,
I do not know exactly what do you mean by homogen group.
I know many english people but I need to ask them.
It will take some time because most of them are on holidays and hopefully will return soon.

Sorry, " homogen " maybe is not correct in english.

I mean we creat this group to improve your French but also to improve our english, with a majority of french people it's not very interesting .

We need to be equal in number for each people could exchange one hour in french and one hour in english ?

    You know what mean ?

    Hi,

You all seem to write and speak English well. So, if there were on 2 English speakers, I am sure we still have a nice exchanging time. Why push it so hard that we must have equal amount of English and French speakings. If a person is interesting enough, there will be much sharing and learning. I was interested in meeting all of you not to just learn French or for you to learn English (I might be wrong with all the intention of this group), but to also meet new friends. From all the messages and requests we have been discussing on forum, doesn't it seem a bit forced? Let just meet, and take it from there. Be cool and all will happen naturally.

    Peace.

    Hello everyone,

It seems that most of you are looking to learn and meet English speaking friends only, and though I would like to participate, but right now there more French members who will show up tomorrow. Perhaps this meeting should wait until you find more English speaking members join the group? As for me, I do have a very busy schedule with plans to open more restaurants and lounges in Paris, and for such reason, I will not be able to come meet you guys at O'Sullivan tomorrow. May be another time.

    Ciao.

am i alone in saying, "huh?" iza, that one day 180 reversal was a little hard to comprehend. i largely agree with your first post. there seem to be sufficient english speakers, particularly with real_cola joining now... at least three native speakers.

anyway, will try to join you guys tonight, if i can. if i don't make it, hope it goes well!

    Hello everybody,

as I said, I will join you unless I leave my office too late.

It seems that there is more people on this site looking for english conversation than french conversation. So I don't think it will be possible to have the same number of english and french native speakers, but that's probably not a real problem.

    have a good day

    Alexa

    Hello everybody,

i can see that a lot of people will be maybe or maybe not at O'sullivan !

For my part, i won't come tonight because of what I write before !

I think i haven't the same goal with this group than the other person so i prefer leave my place to an other person.

Here my email if english people want exchange with me ( one hour french / one hour english) ;-):

    nabilasamadi@hotmail.com

Thanks and have a nice group.
