Salary and Cost of Living

Postby odieg » Tue Jun 29, 2010 9:10 am

Hi there,

i might be moving soon to switzerland for work with a local employment contract (sales position in a mining company) and i was wondering what salary difference i should be looking for taking into account the higher cost of living in switzerland for an equivalent position.
I am currently working and living in the center of brussels, belgium and i would be moving with my wife and baby daughter.
My future employer is located a few kilometers south of lausanne, just on the edge of the valais region.
Any info about the cost of renting an appartment? We would be looking for a 2 bedroom app.

Many thanks.
Olivier

Although it is Genova, you might find information by browsing estate agents in our Guide for Expatriates in Switzerland.
