[london] Rent and buy

Postby Parigi » Thu Sep 21, 2006 11:29 am

Hi,

I am new to the forum and really hope to find some help.

I am looking for a place to live in London -ideally zone 1, paddington area: any help on this?the cheaper the better but please not sharing rooms- and a friend suggested to look into buying a property instead and renting off one of the rooms to pay the morgage. However, I found out that morgage is only given on the salary basis which means I wouldn't even be able to afford a small studio.
Does anyone have any help on the matter?

Thanks!

Parigi

Hi Parigi,

I am rather familiar with this area where I spend most of my time during professional hours.

We all like to see minimum priced offers on prime locations. You should conduct a property search through real estate agents to ease up your purchase. For example, http://www.plazaestates.co.uk/properties-to-rent can provide you detailed information about rentals as well as properties for sale in every region of London.
