My girlfriend and I have tickets booked for Spain in 4 weeks time. She needs to get a schengen visa but has been told that as she is from Iran she can't be fast tracked by a dedicated processing company. She is in UK studying so has a UK student visa. We are only going for 5 nights (if at all).

Writing to Spanish embassy to get an appointment and then waiting for it, getting visa etc could take up to 12 weeks apparently. She is currently considering going back to Iran to try to process it from there as she got her uk visa in a day, but i can't believe this is going to be quicker than doing it from London.

Has anyone had any experience trying to get a visa for persian people or know what the quickest way to do so is?
