    One of the most difficult things about being an expat in Milan is making new friends. That is one reason why the forum and EasyExpat site are so useful, but maybe you would like to meet new people in person. On this thread, we would like to encourage you to arrange a meet-up in Milan.

    An expat meet-up can be a big group gathering, a brunch, getting a coffee, a language exchange, or a sports activity. What do you like to do for fun? Are you looking for a group to join or want to organize a gathering in Milan?

    How long are you staying in Milano? Where do you stay (area?).
    Maybe you can give tips to new comers too when they come to Italy (was the internship difficult to get? Accommoddation?). Feel free to participate to all the other topics we already opened on the forum HERE and create also your own... :)

    There are also events organised by Franglish. It is an Italian/English language exchange event promoting meetings between native English and Italian speakers in Milan. Discover the format of 1-on-1 conversations that last for 14 min (7min in Italian, 7min in English). The concept is unique and it's a great opportunity for you to practise Italian and meet locals.
