    Hello,

    I am an experienced IT person with a skillset that is in demand in the London area from what searches on various job boards show.

    How likely is it that firms in and around London would hire an American?

    What approach should I take with regard to trying to secure employment? Would it be to my advantage to go through a US firm?

    Basically I would just like to spend some time abroad and I would like to use my skillset to help me do that. I am a Senior Unix Administrator with over 10 years of experience and industry certifications.
