    Hello,
Thank you for reading this first and formost. I am an American Citizen who has a one and a half year old child with my English boyfriend. We have been together for six years, have lived together while in the States, but now we plan on giving it a go in England. What type of travel insurance do I need to look into so I would be covered when my DeFacto Visa goes through? I recently was in a car accident and I am currently seeing a neurologist, chiropractor, physical Therapist and orthopedist. I also have asthma and allergies so I definitely will need medical car when I am in England but I am worried about insurance and do not know what type of insurance I should look into. While in England I do plan on eventually working but in the beginning my boyfriend will work while I care for our daughter. My daughter is going to be getting an English passport so she will be covered under the NHS but unfortunately until we decide to get married I have to fend for myself so is there anyone who has experience in this or could give me some advice because I will be relocating in a matter of weeks but still have to get this sorted out. Thanks! :D

If you have a UK Fiancee Visa on entering the UK, then yes you can avail of the NHS, but you cannot claim any other government benefits.
