Probably the most asked question is how to choose the wine from all the colorful labels and friendly-sounding names? Walking into a discount wine or liquor store, it's easy to feel overwhelmed. Of course, most people have their own approach to the selection of wines, but the article describes a couple of tips, which can always be useful:

***MOD: instead of posting a link you should have posted some of the tips to choose a wine in Italy... at least!***

ok...if moderators think that my link was an advertise, then I'll tell you my thoughts about price for the bottle of wine.
You don't automatically get a better tasting wine by spending more. Often times the opposite is true. I advise people to try a number of wines in a price range they want to afford while keeping particular attention to the grape(s) it was made from. Eventually you will identify one or more favorites. Then try wines of that favorite grape(s) from several different vineyards in several different countries and again, eventually you will identify some favorites. When you reach this point, you will have chosen the best tasting wines...the ones YOU like. From here, then, its easy then to choose wines in restraunts and wine shops.

Please note; I have only referred to grape wines. There are many fine wines made from other than grapes....plums, cherries, etc. One or more of these could well be on your favorites list, too, like they are on mine.

Thanks for the advice. But how is it relating to Italy? Do you have specific recommendation for Italian's wines? What about Chianti and Nero d'Avola or Montepulciano d'Abruzzo?
