Hi,
As it has just started it is English speaking social events at the moment. Yes we have a lot of expats in the area and many have said how hard it is to meet other Brits. But in the future I would love to have events which include the French locals as it would help a lot of people to improve their French and intergrate into the way of life here. Hope that helps.

Yes exactly, so it benefits everyone! A lot of the locals have said they would love to start learning English so could be a great idea.

From what I have seen it is mostly pensioners who have retired to the sun-lucky things! Some younger families come here and they tend to set up their own businesses i.e builders, electricians, property maintenance etc.
As with everywhere, it's difficult to find work here at the moment unfortunately.
