    Figures currently used are from 2009. A recent study from UBS with 2011 figures gives Paris more expensive than London on cost of living - excluding accommodation when London is still more expensive. However you have a lot of flatsharing in London, which makes it easier to find accommodation in a way.
    Anyway cost of living in London as dramatically decreased as the Sterling collapse from 1.60 EUR to ~1.10 EUR.

    In my opinion the salary of the experience software engineer lies between 80-90 thousands per month.

    Not according to the job recruitment websites. All the jobs I checked are between £30k and £65.
