    Hi everyone,

I have a quick question that I have been unable to find the answer to, no matter how long I search, so maybe someone here would be willing and able to help me out.

I hear that the COA is to be abolished next month. I'd like to know whether it only applies to those already living in the UK as immigrants, or whether it also applies to those "wanting" to come to the UK to be with their proposed partner?

My partner and I were about to apply for a COA when I heard that it was to be abolished soon, but the only text I can find says that it applies to those already here. I'm slightly confused, which doesn't take much :D

If it only applies to those already here then I'd like to go ahead and apply ASAP, so any info would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks in advance.

Its going to be abolished for everyone so you don't need to apply.

    Good luck

Thanks chekerker, I've read this, and many other articles, but they all say "migrant already in the UK", so I just wondered if it also pertained to those not already here. Thanks again.
