This has got me worried since somebody actually asked the question and I have not seen the answer! Would it be a problem for my spouse to arrive in the UK without me on his first entry on his spouse visa? I want to go a month ahead of him to the UK.

Nope. Shouldn't be a problem. Make sure he has your number to contact you because the immigration officer MIGHT want to speak to you - better would be if you could be at the airport to receive him - but shouldn't be a problem as such.

Okay. I have also got confirmation from another couple who arrived separately with no problem. Thanks!
