    Hi :)

Assuming everything goes well with the visa application, my financee will be moving to the UK to live with me in April of this year; we've pretty much everything sorted for the visa application, but I still have one thing to get done and that's proof of having a roof over our heads.

My situation isn't covered specifically in anything I've read, and none of my emails have been replied to, so I'm hoping members of this forum can help me! :)

I have lived in a friend's house (with said friend), paying minimal rent (all bills, council tax etc. inclusive) for the past 5 years; I and my fiancee intend to remain living there together for the foreseeable future. What proof should I provide for this arrangement?

Will a letter from my housemate (who is also my landlord) suffice, along with my bank statements showing the monthly payments to his account, or will some other documentation, proving he has ownership of the house, be required?.... and if so, what would be permissible?

    Many thanks! :)

A tenancy agreement between you and the owner, a letter from him that he is OK with you and your fiance living there along with a copy of the proof of his ownership and a letter from the local council that the house will not be over-crowded with the three of you living there. That would suffice.

    Good luck !
