    Hi,

    i am hoping some body can help me!

    I have searched every web page on the net for information but cant find any.

    I am a uk citizen married to a non eu national.

    My husband is not able to join me in the uk because i am not yet 21, and that is the rule here :(


    however, we have now both agreed that we would like to live in malta.

    We do not now if a visa is required, if we are eligible or how to make it??

    Any advice is greatly appreciated.

    Yes but i dont understand which section applies to us.

    We want to reside in malta permenantly. Do you know what visa does my husband need and how we go about applying for it?

    Really hope you can help.

    Where is he a citizen? From any of these countries: http://www.mfa.gov.mt/Default.aspx?MDIS=530? It appears they all need a visa which can be obtained in these places: http://www.mfa.gov.mt/Default.aspx?MDIS=531

    It also has a breakdown of what documentation is needed depending on reason for being there: http://www.mfa.gov.mt/default.aspx?MDIS=537. Sounds like intially you will fall into the tourism category

    Then they list information about Visa types http://www.mfa.gov.mt/default.aspx?MDIS=534 & application http://www.mfa.gov.mt/default.aspx?MDIS=532
