    Hi there,

I am Turkish and I have been leaving in UK since August 2000. I came to UK as a student and while I am studying I got married in October 2004. My wife is Spanish. When I applied last time to get my visa, I have been issued a 5 years visa which has my wife's name on it. My 5 years visa is expiring on 12th of March 2010 and I have been reading on the Home Office's website recently to find the right application form to apply for extension which will lead me to apply for British Citizenship in the future. I got confused, If you can help me in this matter I would be grateful.

Am I going to apply for EEA4? Am I going to get ILR?

    Thanks a lot

You should apply for EEA4 for Permanent Residence since you have been residing in the UK under EC rules.

    Good luck

Can I apply British citizenship right after getting my resident card?

No, you will have to wait one year for naturalisation after that.
