✎ EN EEA FP - visa due to run out

    Hello everyone,
    I have been going through the threads to find any similar case to mine but none :( to date.
    Im a malaysian married to french national and im currently in France under a visitor visa which is due to expire at the end of Feb 2010.
    My husband is currently in UK practising his traty rights.
    I have applied for EEA FP (UK embassy, Paris) about 2 weeks ago and im still waiting for an answer.
    My question is, what happens if i do not receive an answer by the end of this month from the UK embassy. Am i still allowed to stay while waiting or would I be penalised for overstaying my visitor visa in France.
    Please help. Thank you for your time. :)

    Yes you will be counted as overstayer. Waiting for EEA FP for UK is not a reason at all.
