    Hi all

im in a bit of a dilema. Im a non eea national have been living with my polish partner for the past two years in the uk im currently on student visa. my visa is about to expire and i was thinking of applying for residence card. he has been living in the uk for four years and hasnt applied for the WRS.
    questions:

    1. will it be a problem us not being married? ( because on the application form one does not get an option for unmarried partner)

    2. will it also be a problem that he has just changed jobs and has never applied for WRS?

    ANY HELP WOULD BE APPRECIATED

You can still apply wiv ur student visa. You only need to prove that you're in a durable relationship akin to marriage and by that you can produce as much documentations as you can.Although, the Home office is asking for 20 documents that show same address, but doesnt have to be joint name.

You need to fill out EEA2 form and the process can take up to 1 year (should be 6 months).Good Luck ,mate
