✎ EN Easiest Euro country to immigrate to for 2-3 yrs?

    We are American citizens currently live in Indonesia and desire to relocate to a Western (or even Eastern) European city. I am an urban planner, my husband a development manager/consultant. We both want to work, and want a balance of quality of life against cost of living (thus are ruling out places like London, Paris--too $$). We are trying to pick some places to focus on and wondering which countries are easiest to immigrate to as expats, re: visas, work permits, etc. Western Europe is preferred though places like Budapest, Prague are viable...

    I believe Belgium is 3 years. Everywhere else is either 5, 6 or 10 years.
