✎ EN Going alone to uk with family permit

    hi everybody

    i am applying family permit to uk(within eu) if i get it can i go alone to uk without my wife so that she can join me later after one or two months as she worked in uk before for eigth months and got wrs card as well.

    thanks in advance for ur info.

    Hm, I am not sure that is a good idea. When did she leave the UK? Is there any chance that she could come with you at least for a few days? From a legal perspective that would be a lot better.

    Anyway, if you do go on your own, you should make sure that you stay for no longer than 3 months before she joins you, so that you can call it "just a visit".

    hi there

    what i mean is will it be any problem at immigration in airport without my wife and i will get a job first there later she can join me after two months because of our baby just born.if any questions at airport can i tell them its short visit and enter uk find job and cal my wife.finally let me knwo shall i take the risk of going alone and will they allow me in.forgot to mention that my wife left uk one year back.
