    I got my uk spouse visa granted 2 days after submitting my supporting documents.. how cool is that.... Why do they say 12 weeks on their web site

    My husband is Britsh and Im Canadian. We got married in Canada this december. We have been together for 2 years and I was traveling in the UK often as a visitor.The most important thing I reckon is the financial details (mortgage, pay slip, savings etc). If you got enough money and assets to support yourself and a good professional record, you should be alright and it will go quite straightfoward.

    That's pretty impressive! Two days?!?!

    Did you go in person? Get an expediter?

    I'm about to embark on the whole spouse visa process and would LOVE to get an answer in 2 days!!! Do you have any other tips that might have sped yours up?

    Unfortunately we don't have a mortgage, but hopefully my qualifications (I've been a teacher in the UK for the past 3 years), savings, and his salary will all work in our favor.
