    Hi

I'm trying to figure out if it's easier for me and my fiance to get married in Morocco or in the UK.

I hear that the Moroccan process can take a long time to have the papers sorted out - does anyone have any info on what it's like for the marriage in UK?

Is it as simple as applying for a fiance visa with all the documents or are there some other steps involved?

    Many thanks

    hi.

I advice you to get married in morocco and then your husband can apply for a spouse visa.the procedure for marriage take a few days .so idea to apply for a fiance visa is uncertain to get it.i hear a lot of bad news about fiance visa in British embassy in Rabat.

    Hi Shama

I'm not sure I would say either of them are "easier". Either way, you have to deal with the British Embassy. They request lot of documents for the visa application.

Check with the Embassy which papers you need to get the most up-to-date information. It's a costly and timely business applying for a visa and you need to have everything spot on.

If it is your intention to marry in Morocco, yes this is possible, but you need time and a lot of patience. It doesn't just happen in a few days. There are a lot of checks that need to be done on you in Morocco before you get the all clear to marry.

If you intend to marry in the UK, check with the relevant authorities in the UK, then you can make an informed decision.

i think that the procedures will be easier if u get married in morocco then ur spose will apply for a visa to join u in the uk,the only black spot in that is that it will take months, the other possibility that he applies for a fiancé visa then u get married in UK is a bit deficult as it is very demanding, lot and lot of documents.
just to let u know that i m a moroccan boy planing to marry a british girl, she is working there and me too i have a good work here, but we are planing to live there.we are about to achieve it,
so as i told u it will take u long time to get married here but it is beter than only applying for a fiancé visa.

    wedding process

    Hi

My fiance is in Fes but we would like to get married in Marina Smir (Tetouan).

I noticed the info from the embassy said to take all documentation to where my fiance lives. Do you know if it is possible to marry in a town other than where he originally comes from?

    Many thanks

    Shama
