I am a new coming visiting scholar in USA, and my girlfriend is a new student in UK, I arrived in US in September 10, and she arrived in UK in September 22.

I am going to apply for a visitor visa of UK to have a christmas vacation with my girlfriend for 2 weeks. Now I have to submit my financial certification for the visa application. I have $7000 in my account, but now everybody told me that the bank statement should be at least 3 months. I have been in US for only one month, then how can I supply a sufficient financial statement to show I can support myself during the vacation. I cannot use my girlfriend's money neither, cause she arrived in Uk later than me, so the time she opened her account is not enough neither.


Can anybody help me in this situation?
