    Hello everyone :D ,

    im from Turkey living in poland and going to apply at the British embassy, warsaw, for eea family permit to join my polish wife in the Uk.

    i have got my appointment day with the embassy so just waiting now to be there.

    i would like to know if anyone has been dealing with eea family permit in warsaw embassy and how long you have to wait for receiving the eea permit? What are the procedures you have to go through? What are the most important thing(s) for the Entry Clearance Officers at the embassy to make the application fast and easy?

    There is something else which came in to my mind. i need to take our marrige certificate as an evidence , right? the thing is; we got married in Turkey and i have the Turkish certificate and also our marriage is registered in Poland, we have the polish certificate too. which one i need to take to the embassy? i wonder if we have to register our marrige in Uk?

    any idea?

    No you don't need to register your marriage in UK and you should present the polish marrige certificate but make sure you translate it into english through an authorised translater. Representing the Turkish certificate ( alongwith the authorised English translation ) will also be appreciated even though it is not necessary.
