I've got a unique situation and cant find anything on the topic. Basically, I want to know if my two children can receive british nationality.

Here's the unique situation. My wife and I recently married. She is croatian with two children. At birth a father was never named, so when I decided i wanted to adopt them we simply needed to put my name as their father. Obviously I'm not their natural father, so how in these circumstances can my children receive british nationality?

Any more details needed please ask

Good point, its not very clear. I am British by birth and have been living there all my life. I have no other nationalities. My wife and children are all Croatian. We are all currently living in Croatia but will be going back to the UK very shortly.

Croatian's do not need entry visas for visiting purposes for 3 months. My wife will need the correct visa to stay longer, but will my children need to get visas or could they, instead, apply for British nationality? Our children are 9 and 11 years old.

I can't see any other variables that need to be further explained, but if there is any pertinent information which is missed out please let me know.
