    Hi

    does anyone know how long it takes for a determination to be decided !

    My wife ,who is my sponsor went to a hearing(appealing against the refusal of my EEA family permit) a month ago and we were told we will be written to in 3 weeks time but we still have n't heard .We rang the AIT and were told the immigration judge is still with the file and has n't decied on the determination yet ....do you know how long this takes ??????????????????????????????????

    Sorry - I don't know. I asked a similar question a few days ago about the time something takes (in our case, an EEA2-application in a medical emergency) and I didn't get a reply. My feeling is that many of the members of this forum will be accessing it while their applications are still being considered - once they have had their residence card (or whatever they are waiting for), they will no longer need to come here to look for information and support... So people who could answer your question simply aren't reading it. But perhaps I'm wrong.
    Out of curiosity - if you feel like telling us - what lead the Home Office to refuse your EEA-application? I'd be interested to know along what lines their minds operate...

    i am sorry you are in such a position but to be sincere to you it could take up to 9months! when i appeal against my mums refusal for a visitors visa that was how long it took... but she had the decision over turned.
    you just have to be strong forget about them and get on with your life...but hope that when it comes back you will have victory

    My marriage was questioned - possibly a marriage of sham which is not the case but we got the hearing date shortly after lodging the appeal now waiting for results and it is taking longer than we were initially told it would !
