    Hello
Would you be able to help
I've applied for a NI to be able to claim benefits. But the thing is -i could not prove my ID,cos my passport, marriage certificate are all in the Home Office (waiting for a residence stamp for 10 month so far  )
    I brought a letter from the Home Office,medical card,maternity booking letter-whatever i could.Couldn't prove my ID.
I red somewhere that i shouldn't be refused, that they could confirm it somewhere.
Do you have any ideas where i could get help?
    Thanks a lot.

    NI for benefits

    Haven't got a clue.
I've applied for a residence stamp. In 6 month time i got a letter saying that i was not eligible, however i could be considered for a residence card.?
( i wrote to you something about it before:)
now 4 month passed.I'm not sure whether to call them cos on their letter it says to ring in case of emergency only.
    So I'm a bit stuck
