    hey guys,

i have a question about the EEA-Family Permit. Im a german citizen and my boyfriend is a south african citizen and we are planning to get married in denmark. After we come back to Germany after the wedding we want to apply for the EEA Family Permit so we can go together to England to live and work there. Is he allowed to apply for that permit in Germany if he is legally there with a schengen visa or does he need permanent residence in germany to apply there???

If we both dont have a job and accomodation in england yet but enough money to show that we can support ourselves will we get the permit???

thank you very much for your answers, bine.

they will need to show that they are living legally in an EE

Im just worried because he is actually not living in germany but visiting with the schengen visa. Maybe the embassy will refuse the permit because he is just a visitor.???[/b]

Refused for a uk visa before

Another thing that worries me is that he was refused before for a uk visa. The situation was that he had already a working holiday visa and did apply again without mentioning that he had one before. So they found out and refused. Do you think they can refuse the EEA-Family Permit because of this reason???

In principle shouldnt metter but there is section in VAF1 form where is a question regarding the refusal of visa.I have no insight of workin of Foreign Office, therefore I cant categoricaly say that visa will be approved.
Personally I dont think they will refuse.
