Hey, can anyone please help me. I am a US citizen who is about to marry a UK citizen. We are having our religious ceremony in November and i am moving to the UK shortly after that. Should i get a court marriage in August when i visit him in London to make the paperwork go easier or wait until November when it is closer to the religious ceremony? I thought it would be better to do it in August so i can change my last name over earlier so i can clear things up in the US. What kind of visa should i apply for? I would appreciate your help, Thank you :)
