Hi there. I've got quite a few questions, please bear with me.

I'm a South African currently living in England with my Hungarian wife. (My 1st anniversary this weekend!) I'm currently on a FMRS, which expires on the 16th of June. When can/should I apply for EEA1 & EEA2? Do I have to wait until my FMRS is almost expired, or can I do it now? When my wife originally came to England she did not register on the worker registration scheme. We only realised this once we were already married and I was trying to get my FMRS. We quickly registered her, then I applied for my FMRS and got it eventually in December last year. Basically that means is that in 2 weeks she would have been on the registration scheme for a year, which is a prerequisite for EEA1.

All I need to know now is can I apply for EEA1 & 2 as soon as these 2 weeks are up or do I have to wait until my FMRS is near expiration?

    Thank you

Wait for the 2 weeks that her anniversary comes up, and then you can mail in your applications together for the EEA 1 / EEA 2 forms. While waiting you can start reading the sticky here on the prep work needed to make sure you have everything covered once you mail in your forms.

Thank you. I've read through your sticky already and taken quite a bit of advice from it.
