✎ EN EEA2 application (Can my wife send just ID)

    Hi.. i am a NON-EU national here on an eea family permit. My wife has already got 5 yr registration. I would like to ask if i need to send both passports for EEA2 application or can i send my passport and her EU National ID ?? she need her passport and so she can only send her ID to home office.. what are your views about it ?

    As long as the ID is a nationally recognized form of identification, then yes you can send just the ID. The two IDs in my opinion that will not be complained about by the Home Office are the passport and national ID (from whatever EU country you are). So either of these two will suffice in your application forms.
