    Hi, I'm a Male British National and i'm looking to marry my Colombian girlfriend in her home city of Barranquilla in January 2007, i understand that although normally i wouldn't need a visa to travel there, if we want to marry then i would need to apply for some kind of visa and also take with me various documents and paper work, if anyone has any idea or advice about this it would be most appreciated, i'm aware that i need to start organizing any paperwork ASAP.

    hi steve
    im monika and i think i can help you , because i was in the same situacion like you are.its easy.
    you need:
    1.birthday certificate
    2.marital status certificate from register office
    3.passport
    4.copy of first page of passport
    5.colombian visa copy
    6.if you dont speak spanish, you need english translater(civil marriage)
    VERY IMPORTANT
    birthday certificate,and marital status certificate must be translated in spanish and must have APOSTILLE(the documents are not valid abroad without APOSTILLE)
