    Hi
My religious husband of 1 year, has been in the uk now 6 years, signing at a police station every month. We made an application for a Marriage Certificate of Approval 7 months ago and we have not heard nothing yet. On his last signing they gave him a interveiw asking him questions about iran, he is iranian kurdish. They gave him a letter saying that the interveiw may determine his deportation from the uk. He knows he cant go back to iran, me (british) and all my family have sent letters of recommendations and photos so they know that he has a settled life here. His next signing is next wednesday and we do not know what to do! Any Advice Please

    Hi
My husband has been in the uk now for nearly 7 years and signs every month at a police station, in march we made an application for a certificate of approval, we have not heard nothing yet. when he had his signing last month he was given a interveiw asking questions about iran: ie what mosque is close to your familys home. Then they give him a letter saying that the interveiw might determine to issue with a travel document that will facilitate his removal from the uk. We have been together nearly 4 years, and have been religiously married for 1 year next month.
If he goes back to iran he will face persicution. I am a british citizen, last week our solicitor advised us to send proof of our relationship to home office, as they are not aware that we married last year. i got letters of all my family members, cards and photos.
Can anyone help has he has his next signing next wednesday and im petrified what might happen

I put your 2 posts together.

I am not aware that anyone in Police Station can conduct the interview.
Home Office can only do that or people assigned by them.
Legal process can take 2-3 years. Its good that you have a solicitor.
