    Hi,

I've read through a few threads on applying for Spouse VISA's to the UK and am looking for some advice. My wife and I married in the US on 01/09/06 and had our marriage certificate cleared the next day.
We came into the UK and went on honeymoon to Rome but she was stopped on return to the UK and sent back to the US immediately under a removal order.

We immediately began working on her VISA to live here and are gathering the usual documents but I'm worried on two major counts that the application might be declined.

    1) Finance - I earn £18,500 a year but have no savings at all, my bank statement for the last 6 months will show my payments and mostly luxuries and flights to the US. We plan to apply by 01/12/06 and to this end I am leaving my surplus every month of £600 in the bank and my father is also putting in £400 a month as well so by the date we apply I should have over 2k of liquid assets in my bank. My last major loan is paid off this month leaving me disposable income of £800 a month but still no savings and anything beyond 3 months from 01/12/06 will probably just show my wages in and all my luxuries etc.
I'm worried this will severely effect our application and possibly lead to it being declined. Will this be a problem and how much do I need to have?

    2) Proof of relationship - My wife and I have been in touch for 3 years and we have photo's from visits but we do all our communcation by skype and I can't find where the call logs are. Our early communication was via irc chat servers and I'm worried about finding the logs. I do have emails but how many do I need to print off and what might help?

Any help anyone can give as we're pretty stressed about it, we've been assured by IND that the removal order won't affect her application but we're worried about these two major probs.

Its unfortunate she was refused entry, but that is not the first time that we heard on this forum. If I can recall US citizen was refused entry coming back from Switzerland where he stayed for a couple of days with friends.
Regarding proof of relationship....Provide what you have, photos, emails, letters, cards.
As long as you have steady job and adequate accommodation your application will be success.
