✎ EN CAN I GO TO EUROPE MORE THAN 1 TIME A YEAR?

    HI,

    MY HUSBAND AND WANT TO TAKE A TRIP TO EUROPE AND WANT TO STAY FOR 3 MONTHS WHILE TRAVELLING ALL AROUND THROUGH THE UK AND AROUND ITALY, AUSTRIA ETC.
    I KNOW WE ARE ALLOWED TO STAY (IN THE uk)FOR UP TO 6 MONTHS - SO DOES THAT MEAN WE CAN STAY EXACTLY 6 MONTHS OR COULD WE GO FOR 3 MONTHS, LEAVE ...THEN GO BACK AGAIN AND STAY ANOTHER 3 MONTHS? AND CAN WE GO TO EUROPE EVERY YEAR ON THIS KIND OF SCHEDULE??? DO WE NEED ANY SPECIAL PAPER WORK FOR DOING THIS??

    as far as i know that ur visa remain valid for six months so u can visit the UK within that time as many as u want

    but within the visa period

    so if u have a six months visa u can visit for example the uk for 1 month then go back to ur country or whereever u want and u may visit the uk again within the six months period

    You dont need visa for the UK.
    Every time you arrive you`d get 6 months which counts from the point of the arrival onwards.You can spend 3 months come back after 1 month and from that point you actually have another 6 months.

    Thank you both very much.
    And I should have ask this too... If we went to Europe ie. UK, Scotland, France, Germany etc...can we with passports, go for up to 6 months EVERY year? I'm trying to figure out of a way that we can travel (as US citizens) for up to 6months a year, every year...until that expat itch has thoroughly been scratched. :D
