    Hi all,

Great site and forum, I've looked around but can't see my question answered anywhere. To be honest it's probably a stupid question.

My fiancé (US citizen) is coming over to the UK on a fiancé visa to marry me (UK citizen). My question is are we both allowed to travel back and forth to the US within the 6 months before we get married. I'm pretty sure she can but not so sure if I can....

    Thanks for the help

    Alan

Thanks for that, both very informative. So my fiancé will be able to travel back and forth which is great.... but will I?

If back and forth means 3-4 times people from both sides of atlantic will be asking questions.

Why would people be asking questions? I used “back and forth” merely as an expression. All I really want to know is can I travel to the USA if my fiancé is over here on and fiancé’s visa?....

I visit the US quite regularly as it is, making a trip out there maybe every 2 months or so, no one has asked any "questions" so far.

    Thanks

    Of course you can.
Short visits are in general OK.
We had people here who were asked questions, because they spent prolonged periods of time in the US(few months),time after time after time.
