    Hi to all,

me (Austrian EU National) and my husband (Indian) are living in the UK, he has got an EEA family permit which is valid til middle of July. I tried to find employment but became pregnant (now 5th month) so no company would take me (naturally).

My husband has started to to work on a fixed basis a week ago. I want to apply for a residence permit before his family permit runs out.

I need to apply as self sufficient, as I don't have a job, on the basis that my husband got one. I know that normally he would be my dependant ... but in this case it's the other way round.

Can we hand in a joint application with both forms EEA1 and EEA2 so he can stay in the UK? I hope that this is possible ... I am desperate, as he hasn't got long before his permit runs out ... please help!

thank's a lot, this forum was a huge help so far, it's fantastic! Anna

    Thank's,

yes I had a look at that thread before. But I couldn't see from it if it's actually possible and if it has worked before. But from crossreading and checkin I suppose I am able to apply as selfsufficient on the basis that my husband (non EEA) is employed.

I think it is possible.I can not see you have any other option but to apply this way.
