    Hi there.

I'm needing a bit of help here as I'm a bit soncfused as to what happens next really.

I am a South African currently on a working holiday visa which expires pretty soon on 30/06/06. I am married to my Hungarian wife, for just over a month now.

I incorrectly filled in for FLM or something and wasted a day at the home office to find out I had filled in the wrong forms. They told me because I am not an EEC national they cannot help me there, and gave us 2 forms to fill out and send in.

Right, the first form is EEA1 which my wife has to fill out. She has worked for over a year in England, which she can prove with payslips (What other evidence do they accept?)

The second form is EEA2 which is my one.

    Now my questions...

    1. How long does it take to process EEA1?
    2. How much does EEA1 cost? I can't find any fees for this application?
    3. How long does it take to process EEA2?
    4. How much does EEA2 cost?

My main problem is that my current visa is expiring in 5 weeks time. I read somewhere on the homeoffice site that apparently, while they are busy with your application then whatever visa you are on right now remains in force until the application has been decided.

    5. Is this true?
    6. and if so, how do I prove this to my employer. they have already been on my case about my upcoming visa expiration.

So basically, my main questions are how long this is going to take and how much is it going to cost (simply because I can't find fees anywhere!)

My other problem is that we are going to Hungary on honeymoon end of July. Can I count on my application been done at least a week before this? This is because I still need a few days to get a visa for entry into Hungary again (ARGH!)

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Thank you!

    D
