Hello! My name is Elena, I'm a citizen of Russia, but my husband is Polish.I'll be very-very grateful for any help or advice!!!

Last year my husband worked in the UK and was registerd at Home Office on the Accession State Worker Registration Scheme. That's why I got an EEA Family Permit , it is valid untill June 23, 2006.

We left the UK in Octobet 2005, but now we both got an invitation from another british employer to come and work together.

We are going to the UK in approx. 5 days (on Maj 23-25), but I have some questions...

1. Should I have any specials documents with me during passing the borders (at the british airport), for example, job invitation for my husband to prove he is going to work in the UK?? Or I can enter the UK with my EEA FP??
2. What is the process of extending my EEA FP once I'm in the UK??
3. I understand, that my husband has to re-register at Home Office, and only then I can apply for a new FP?? Is that right??
4. I called to IND and the officer told me, that I should apply for a Residence Card, not for extension of an EEA FP. I should fill in an EEA2 form. Someone, tell me what is right and what I should do??
5. The officer also told me, that I can send my documents even on June 21 (the expiry date of my Family Permit is on June 23, 2006) and I won't have any problems with it?? Did anybody have the same situation before??
6. I checked this forum and found out, that as a Family Permit holder, I can work in the UK. So, does it mean, that I can start working immediately as soon as I come to Britain?? Or I'll be able to start only when I get a Residence Card??
7. Will we (me and my spouse) have enough time to re-register (for him) and apply for my document??

Help me, please!! If anybody knows answers to my question, I'll be soooooo happy!
