    Dear Friends

I have seen some of the info in the forums, and I find it very useful, my case is different and I haven t found important info about my situation, I would very grateful if you are able to provide me with some info as I don t know how to approach and how to plan my future here: I have a student Visa that was granted in The british Embassy in Colombia, where I come from, I applied for extension 5 months ago, without being aware that I was pregnant, so I wasn t able to attend to classes for some days… One fortnight ago the home office called my husband and asked him whether if I was attending to classes or not, he answered that I had been attending to classes since one week before the mentioned call, The School principal sent a letter to The Home Office stating that my attendance was affected was attended because of my pregnancy(unfortunately I don t have any record, because I didn t find important going to my GP because I had clinical normal pregnancy symptoms) I am going to classes now, but I am wondering if this situation can affect negatively my immigration status ( if I can have my visa refused ) Another important question is if the home office notice that I am pregnant (they did so) they would refuse my visa application to remain as a student, if not… after the delivery when I have the baby, how is the procedure to include my son as a dependant, Does the pregnancy affect the student status? I want you to be really honest with your answer as I am looking for real info.

I would appreciate if you would kindly provide me with some guidance

Sorry I really have a problem

Sorry is not a double post, what I did is to correct the info that we provided you in the previous one because was written in capital letters, I think that is not nice for a moderator to suggest in a rude way to swich to another forum, bearing in mind that my wife is struggling and facing a difficult situation , we don t have a computer and we commuted today Eastern day and pay money that we don t have to use a pc in the internet cafe and spend time redactind a letter with propper writing to the forum only to obtain some useful info in this forum, and this forum was strongly reccomended by a relative, our case is difficult and we really need some help, If anybody friendly can help me, i would be really grateful, by the way We fixed the double post

    Thank you very much

    Pregnancy and Immigration Status

Hello Angie and Leo, I am sorry to hear about your situation, it seems a quite complex issue, I agree that is not the best way for a moderator to suggest to switch to another forum without offering a possible solution, Don t switch to another forum because of one person, there are really a nice people here who can offer their help and experience when they are able to do so, I am going to see if I can find literature about the topic, and I ll make a post very soon as I don t have accurate info now.

    Have a nice Esater day
