✎ EN Effect on resident stamp

    hi ...
    i got married with eu member girl in ireland ...we spend nearly one year together ...but due to some reason .....we have to breakup this relation....
    i have alreay ...stamp 4 ..(irish resident stamp)....due to marry eu member ...and i am non eu...i just want to know that does it effects my resident status after divorsed with her....

    if you have been together for one year it could be difficult for you as the eu law states you must have been married for three years but there are loopholes in the laws that can be used to your advantage it depends on factors like if you have kids between you and your history in the state

    thanks for ur kind reply...
    actually i been in the ireland for the last 2.5 years on student visa ...but after getting marry with eu girl ...i got my status change to stamp 4 ...resident visa....
    and we dont have any kids ....
    so i am in the ireland for the last 3.5 years among which i spend 2.5 years as a student...
    so is there be stilll any chance to keep my resident stamp ...or any other way to go back to my student status ...as i am still studing fulll time ...
    i will be gald to know ur comments about my case...
