    Hi Evry1!
    I am deserate for some help! im a uk citizen and i am wanting to marry my fiance who is an asylem seeker in the uk. we live together and have had a religious marriage ceremony as muslims (when i converted to a muslim). The thing is i need advice on what we need to do? my fiance signs at a police station every month to show that he is still in the uk. Can anyone help me plz! fanx

    First you could apply for certficate of approval.If that is not granted he could apply to Home Office on the grounds that you are married(religious ceremony).Once he applies for that his asylum application is withdrawn.
    If Home Office does not recognise marriage you would need legal help..
    He could wait untill his asylum case is decided,in which case if refused would be tricky to apply for the second option.
    In any case expect long prosess 2-3 years and need for solicitor.

    fanx for that info! the thing is he has not declared to home office yet about me we wanted to find out all the information first. he has applied for his visa 2 times and failed , this was before we met. So he has 1 chance left

    I am sorry I dont know what are you talking about.Visa for British citizen.?
    Thre is no such a thing.I am not sure that you are aware of the immigration laws!

    Fanx i'm not not actually sure about the immigration laws, thats why i am trying to find out as much info as i can! is there any way u can help?
