Hi - my boyfriend (fiancee I suppose) is planning to move to the UK in September after we get married in the US.

We had been planning to move into a shared house with friends, but I noticed a clause somewhere in the small print on an Immigration website saying that the address we put on his spousal visa form must be inhabited only by us.

Does anyone know if this is true? Does the address we put on the form have to be the place we live permamently (ie could we move a month or so after he arrives in the UK?)

If we have not yet found a place, is it possible for me to put my parents' address and stay with them until we do?

    Thanks for your help...

    YES.

Letter from your mother stating that you`d be wellcomed to stay and arrangments for you and your husband would be sufficient.
