If you are a UK citizen and married, I do not understand why you husband has been deported. Is it just a question of applying for a spouse visa from the UK embassy in Turkey?

He should apply for an EEC2 Permit: Use Form EEC2 to apply for indefinite leave to remain if you're a national of the European Economic Area, or if you are the spouse or family member of a national of the European Economic Area.

But Rabia is a UK national, and she wants to bring her spouse to the UK, so the EU/EEA rules don't apply (I know Britain is in the EU, but the EU laws only apply when it's someone from one EEA state, or their spouse, going to another EEA state. That isn't happening here). She'll have to prove he will not be a burden on the state, so that means showing you have an income and a place to live. There may be allowances made becasue she's pregnant, but I doubt it.

You're right, I always get confused with that. As Rabia is a UK national applying to bring her spouse to the UK, the UK immigration rule will apply, not the EU one.
