    I am a student holding a valid F1 Status. My fiance is a citizen and we are planning to marry in sept. We were wonder what is the first thing we should do after we get marry. Thanks

    After you get married, you have to file for a change of status from an F1 visa to the spouse of a US Citizen. Process takes about 6 months. Check the US Embassy website for more information.
