Hi--
I have read some of the posts about Non-EU citizens married to EU citizens that wish to live and work in the EU, but I have a slightly different twist to the regular questions.

My French-citizen husband and I currently live in the US. I have received a funding to do research in France, but my husband is still looking for a job. So, I may have to relocate and start working in France before he does.

Will this be possible? Should I come on a long-sejour visa and change it once he arrives and "activates" his status by getting a job?

What happens if he gets a job in a non-EU country (Switzerland), (which is actually a very likely prospect)? Can I still legally work in France?

Please help so that we can plan our move to France in the easiest way for everone! Thank you!
