    Hi All,

I recently applied for HSMP programme to come to the UK, which was approved. However, I am now really confused as to if it would be a good decsion to leave Frankfurt and go to UK. Currently , I have quite a good job in frankfurt and in UK (I think I would be able to find something good too) - but the dilemmena that I am currently facing is -
    i) Given the cost of living in UK ( I would perhaps need to make it 1.5 times of what I make now in Frankfurt in order to not to lose my current earnings). Which seems to be a hard bet.
ii) The problem that I currently have in Frankfurt is that I don't speak German and the big advantage I see with Uk is that we(Me and my family) would be able to get adjusted pretty quick being able to communicate freely - However, is this only reason good enough.
iii) Another big reason that kind of pulls me back is that I have heard that the health system in UK is not as good as in Germany(and that you have to wait for weeks to be able to see the doctor). Does someone has some experience about it.
iv) We are about 1 year away from gaining permanent residence in Germany.

If you could take sometime to share your experiences, I would be really grateful

    Many Thanks !

    Hi,
I am in the UK right now, about what you say:

Uk, is expensive but in the salaries are in accordance.

This would be your main reason to come to the UK, be able to communicate yourself and be undestood (I major reason if you ask me).

This is completely untrue, you can see a doctor during a day if you need too. Just dentist is better to take them privately.

iv) We are about 1 year away from gaining permanent residence in Germany.

This is seems like a good reason to stay in Germany.

    Good luck anyway ;)
