Hi, i'm spanish and my boyfriend is from Kosovo, we've been now 2 years living together and as his leave to remain in uk has been refuse we are thinking to go to kosovo to get a visa. My question is what are the differences between non marriage partners and fiancee visa? I do not mind to get married and maybe the fiancee visa is easier to get.
About the evidences we've got: both birth certificates, contracts from the 2 houses in both names, photos, references from all the places where he was working, payslips, references from the landlord, letters from friends, references from where i was working and from my university and maybe something else but i cant remember now. Just i need to start working cause now i'm in my last university year but that is not a problem.
So with all this do you think they will give him the visa? and for which one do you think we should apply?
    Thank you

    Hi Erin
I thought you are married by now. If you have followed the topic and got your EEC 1 form filled for yourself things could have been easier. You could have got married and send all the paperwork to IND!
UK does not recognise non married partnership.Fiance visa is for somebody who have intention to get married within 6 months of entering UK.

    Hi Erin

Once married he should apply for Family Permit from his country of residence. You need to be able to support him, savings or job and accomodation.THAT IS THE BEST BET!

    Good luck
